A joint bearing, also known as a heim joint (N. America) or rose joint (U.K. and elsewhere), is a mechanical articulating joint. Such joints are used on the ends of control rods, steering links, tie rods, or anywhere a precision articulating joint is required. A ball swivel with an opening through which a bolt or other attaching hardware may pass is pressed into a circular casing with a threaded shaft attached. The threaded portion may be either male or female. Rod End Bearing PHS10L mainly bear radial load, but also can withstand a certain amount of axial load which has little friction, high limiting speed, many type of size and forms.

The rod end joint bearing is a spherical sliding bearing, equipped with a spherical inner ring, and its accuracy and hardness are equivalent to that of a steel ball bearing. It provides very smooth rotation and swing movement without gaps. Material: Rod end steel and galvanized, external thread or internal thread, spherical surface with bronze lining, carbon chromium steel inner ring, spherical surface chrome plated, can be lubricated through rod end joints or holes. It has the characteristics of large carrying capacity, convenient loading and unloading, and simplified mechanism.
