Methods And Requirements When Assembling Hydraulic Cylinders
Prepare Documentation: Create drawings, technical documents, and work instruction documents based on the provided instructions for hydraulic cylinder production. These documents will serve as guidelines during the assembly process.
Parts and Components Preparation: Based on the assembly batch size and the detailed column or list in the assembly drawing, ensure that all required parts and components are prepared in advance. This includes gathering all necessary materials and components needed for assembly.
Inspection of Parts and Components: Perform a re-inspection of the main matching dimensions of the parts and components. If assembly is done based on group matching method, group the parts accordingly. Verify the qualification certificates of outsourced and purchased parts to ensure that all components entering the assembly process are qualified and within the effective use period.
Stroke Adjustment Mechanism: For adjustable stroke cylinders, ensure that the stroke adjustment mechanism functions sensitively, reliably, and meets the required accuracy specifications.
Surface Inspection: Check the working surfaces and mating surfaces of the main parts and components, ensuring they are free from defects such as rust, scratches, or bumps. Additionally, inspect all seals (including dust seals, retaining rings, support rings, etc.) to ensure they are undamaged.
Deburring and Blunting: Remove any burrs from each part of the hydraulic cylinder before assembly. Blunt sharp corners and edges that are not indicated in the drawings (excluding sealing grooves and edges).
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean all parts and components, meeting the cleanliness requirements specified. However, seals should not be included in the cleaning process.
Drying and Protection: After cleaning, ensure that the cleaned hydraulic cylinder parts and components are properly dried before assembly. Parts and components that cannot be immediately assembled should be wrapped or covered with plastic cloth or film to protect them from contamination.
Tool and Equipment Inventory: Take inventory of hydraulic cylinder assembly tools, process equipment, low-value consumables, and other relevant items. Maintain a register to keep track of these resources.
